Трапезный храм Киево-Печерской Лавры построен 1893-95 годах в византийско-русском стиле. Его яркой особенностью является широкий сферический купол над церковью, подобный храму Святой Софии в Константинополе. Фотография сделана в январе, когда стояли сильные морозы, и выпало много снега. За заднем плане снимка виден замерзший Днепр и начало левобережной части города.

Refectory church of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra, built 1893-95 years in the Byzantine-Russian style. Its outstanding feature is the spherical dome over the church, like the St. Sophia Cathedral in Constantinople.
